Is there a minimum order value for delivery?
Yes, home delivery orders are subject to a minimum order value of £25.
How much does delivery cost?
Orders under £40 will be subject to a £7 delivery fee and orders over £40 will be charged between £1 and £4.50.
Can I get free delivery on my order?
No. However, while not free, delivery Pass offers the opportunity to purchase delivery for the year, saving you money if you order regularly.
Do Sainsbury’s offer click and collect?
Yes, Sainsbury’s offer click and collect on orders without a minimum order value. For any orders over £25 booked for collection for Sunday to Wednesday you won’t be charged for collection. From Thursday to Saturday you will be charged 50p. For any orders under £25 there is a charge of £4.
Can I make amendments to my order?
Yes, if you want to make amendments to your order whether it’s adding items, editing quantities, removing items or changing delivery dates or times you can do this until 11 pm the day before your delivery is due.
What is the Sainsbury’s returns policy?
You have 30 days to return non-perishable items in their original condition with proof of purchase. You can return to any store and refunds will be made to the original payment method. Please note that cannot be returned unless faulty and a full list of these can be found in the Refunds and Returns section on the Help page.

What is the Sainsbury’s Delivery Pass?
The Sainsbury’s Delivery Pass lets you get free delivery 7 days a week. You can enjoy up to one free delivery every day with 1 hour slots to suit your schedule. The Delivery Passes are available from £7.50 a month or £80 for 12 months. Signing up to the Delivery Pass could save you up to £168 a year.
Is there a minimum order value for Delivery Pass orders?
Yes, to enjoy free delivery with the pass the minimum order value is £40. This needs to be after any multi-buy deals, offers, vouchers, coupons and discounts. If your order comes to under £40 after these then your order will be subject to the standard delivery charge of £7.
Will my Delivery Pass renew automatically?
Yes, your Delivery Pass will renew automatically on a 1, 6 or 12 month basis depending on the one you’ve chosen. When you purchase your pass there will be a renewal opt-out option and with the exception of 1 month passes, you’ll be sent a 28 day reminder before your renewal payment is taken.
Can I earn Nectar points when I purchase a Delivery Pass?
Yes, you can earn Nectar points when purchasing a Delivery Pass as long as your Nectar card details are up to date.
