The Nothing Air Buds are some of the best wireless buds I’ve tried for their price point. Active noise cancellation and powerful 11mm drivers, as opposed to the usual 9-10mm cheap to mid-range buds, make them great for audiophiles without breaking the bank. Plus, they have a cool see-through effect like old-school 90s tech.

I cannot stress enough how good the official Xbox wireless headset is for all the Xbox and PC gamers out there. Comfortable and lightweight, seamless connectivity to your Xbox and full surround sound with Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic, I’ve tried loads of Xbox headsets, and these are the best I've had

A Kindle is a must for tech-loving bookworms, but just any Kindle won’t do. The fully backlit Paperwhite Kindle is the way to go. With 16 GB of storage, there is enough to store a whole collection, and its glare-free display makes it ideal for all times of day, from the garden to your bed.

Sometimes you need to drown out the outside world with a comfy set of headphones, but maybe you don’t travel enough to warrant a £200+ set of Sony or Bose headphones. Enter the Soundcore Q20i, which have excellent comfort, reasonable noise cancellation, and great battery life at a low price. Plus, they fold for easy storage.

I don’t know about you, but I constantly make cups of coffee or tea and then get engrossed in what I’m doing and forget about it, only to chug a cup of lukewarm sadness unawares. That’s why I bought an Ember Temperature control mug. Now, I know what you’re thinking “um why don’t you just get a Stanley Thermos?”. Nope, it is not as good with a thermos. You take a sip 2hrs later and scald your tongue, and you’re annoyed for the rest of the day, but the Ember mug keeps your drink at the perfect drinking temperature; it is just really cool. Though it's pricey, only gadget lovers may find fun in it.

Buying for a millennial gamer? The Sony PlayStation is one of the coolest gaming gadgets out there right now. It’s a mini PS1 console filled with all the best PlayStation games from the '90s and early 00s preinstalled and ready to go. Any gamer who owned the original PlayStation consoles will appreciate this amazing gadget. The nostalgia you get playing your favourite childhood games can’t be beaten.

As someone who lives in a more rural area in Wales, I appreciate the songs and calls of birds in the Spring and Summer, and I often put out seeds and treats for them to enjoy. The Netvue Birdfy Feeder is a fantastic device for those tech lovers who share my love of nature. It's a bird feeder with a built-in camera that activates when a feathered friend stops by for a snack or a rest, capturing pure moments of nature from the comfort of your garden. It brings a smile to my face when I see the images and videos.

The ASUS ROG Ally is a powerhouse of PC gaming tech in a tiny bundle. If you’ve considered buying a Steam Deck in the past, I urge you to hold off and buy this instead. It has a full HD touchscreen with Gorilla glass that would put more expensive laptops to shame. It is ideal for travelling on trains or aeroplanes and can even be connected to a portable monitor for a bigger screen size. It's one of the most incredible gaming gadgets I own and is well worth the price. I bought the Z1 Extreme version, certified refurbished, via eBay with a discount code for £350 if you don't want to buy brand new.

Like many in the modern world, I spend hours looking at a computer screen for work, and then I play video games in my spare time, so my eyes can get fairly strained. I bought the RENPHO Eyeris on a whim; it was a great buy. It's a headset similar in that it looks like a VR set, but instead, it massages your eyes and has a built-in heater for heat therapy, too. With the added Bluetooth capabilities, it is a fantastic gadget that can revitalise your eye health and help you chill out after a long day.

This one is for all streamers, YouTubers, and content creators. A good webcam is invaluable for creating content online or for portfolios. Enter the OBS Bot Tiny 2 Lite, a small 4K webcam with motion and face tracking, gesture control, and built-in AI features. It is an absolute beast in a tiny package. Before this webcam, I was constantly buying cheaper £30 webcams just for them to break 6-12 months later, so I took the plunge, and I’m glad I did.

Laptops are an amazing invention, but they have always had thermal limitations since their creation. They cool themselves with relatively small built-in fans, and because of this, most of the heat stays put and starts to slow down your laptop and even damage desks. The Havit Cooling Pad is a laptop stand with built-in fans that plug into your laptop's USB port, blowing cooler air directly onto your laptop to cool it down. Since using it, my work meetings have become less choppy, and using external monitors and more demanding Google Sheets doesn’t cause as much stress. It's super affordable and a genuine improvement in my work productivity.

When it comes to mice, you can spend £100s on high-tech extremes with 50 buttons and other pointless editions. Out of the long list of gaming mice I've owned, none have lasted longer and done the job better than the Corsair Harpoon Pro, 12000dpi sensitivity makes it perfect for pretty much any game, and it has a pair of side buttons. It's simple, durable, stylish, and affordable, and it served me well in everything from Guild Wars 2 to Overwatch and Dead by Daylight.

On the topic of computer mice, if you want more innovative and flashy tech, then I recommend the Logitech G Powerplay. It's a fully wireless gaming mouse with a super cool feature. The mousemat it comes with is a wireless charger, so you never have to worry about plugging it in, adding batteries, or annoying wires.

Everyone has a million water bottles these days, from massive Stanley mugs to gallon-sized water bottles that look like office water dispensers. Well, you can eliminate all of them for the LARQ bottle. It’s pricey, but for good reason: it is durable and insulated to keep your water cool for longer. Why the price tag? It has a nifty built-in UV light that cleanses it, eliminating bad smells and harmful bacteria. Say no more to disgusting water bottles left on desks for a little longer than they should be, and buy a LARQ. It is so much easier.
