What delivery options are available at Oxfam Shop?
For second-hand items, standard delivery via Royal Mail is £3.95, and should be dispatched within 7 working days of your order. Larger items or anything worth over £100 will be sent with DHL, and charges for this will vary depending on what you've ordered. Sourced by Oxfam items will also incur a £3.95 delivery fee for Royal Mail delivery, but will be dispatched within 3 working days and should arrive with you within 7 working days.
What about Gift Card delivery?
Items from the Unwrapped range are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class for a cost of £1 per order. Gift cards will usually arrive within 5 working days of the placement of your order, and eCards will be sent instantly to the email address of your choosing.
What if my order contains items from the Second-Hand, Sourced by Oxfam and Unwrapped ranges?
Each range of Oxfam shop items is dispatched from different locations, so orders of items from different ranges will likely arrive item by item at different times. For instance, Second-Hand items are usually sent from the shop they were donated to, and there are over 600 Oxfam stores across the UK. Check the delivery conditions for each range above, or on the Oxfam website, for more of an idea when each item should arrive.
What's the Oxfam Shop returns policy?
Oxfam offer a 'no quibble' returns policy, so you can send back any items you're unhappy with within 30 days of your purchase. To return your items, simply complete the returns form provided with your order, attach the freepost label and post it to back Oxfam. If you bought your item in-store, you can also bring it back to that branch. You can find a thorough step-by-step guide on how to do this on the Oxfam Shop website. Note that gift cards are not included in the returns policy and cannot be returned.

Is there an Oxfam Shop near me?
With over 600 stores across the UK, you're bound to have an Oxfam store in your neighbourhood. You can find your nearest branch using Oxfam's handy store locator. Just enter your postcode, town or city, and you'll see a list of your nearest branches, along with their address, contact details & opening times.
When does Oxfam open & close?
Due to their all-volunteer staff, every Oxfam Store will open at different times, so it's best to check when your nearest branch opens using the handy store locator. You can generally expect them to be open on at least a few weekdays between 10am - 5pm, with some stores operating on weekends too.

What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to reclaim the tax that paid on donations received. This effectively increases the value of donations by 25%. You are eligible to sign up to Gift Aid if you pay income or capital gains tax, and have paid enough tax in the current tax year to cover the amount Oxfam will reclaim.
Can I Gift Aid my purchase?
Gift Aid can only be applied to donations, and as ordering most items counts as buying a product, most items are exempt from Gift Aid. However, items from the Unwrapped range technically count as a donation, and so are eligible for Gift Aid to help your contribution go further.

With every card or e-card purchased, Oxfam guarantees that it will pledge the entirety of the profit to a specific humanitarian project, such as the provision of safe water or seeds to impoverished communities. Because of this, gift purchases count as donations, so they're also eligible for Gift Aid.

How we make money
Using our discount codes is totally free, although we understand that this may seem too good to be true. Like all businesses, we need to make money, and we do this via commission-based relationships with brands and retailers - we earn a small percentage from the retailer every time someone uses a code on our website or clicks through to a sale.
We also make money by offering the brands we work with the chance to buy some extra space on our website, in turn giving more exposure to their biggest and best discounts. And that’s it! By using this model, we’re able to do what we do without charging our customers a penny.
