How do I cancel or change my booking?
To make changes or to cancel your booking, you’ll need to head to the ‘Manage My Booking’ section of the Budget website. Be sure to check the terms and conditions of your booking to determine whether or not charges will apply.
How old do I need to be to rent a car with Budget Rent a Car?
You need to be at least 23 years of age and have held your licence for a year or more. Any additional drivers on the agreement under the age of 25 will need to pay an extra charge per day.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes, you can. The best way to do this (for all UK rental agreements) is to email Avisbudget.Ukoperations@abg.com or to contact the location you picked the car up from. Any days added to the lease will be charged as extra.

What do I need to bring with me when I collect the vehicle?
You’ll need to bring along a valid driving licence, a credit card and a photo ID. If you made a reservation online, you’ll also need to show your booking reference number.
How do I make a complaint to Budget Rent a Car?
To lodge a complaint, you’ll need to contact their team via the live chat system on their website. Alternatively, you can call them on 0808 284 4444 or send them an email.
What happens if I lose the car keys to a rental?
You’ll need to contact the team from your branch and inform them right away. They’ll then be able to source you a new set of keys or arrange for the vehicle to be collected. Please note, that any lost keys and costs of vehicle retrieval will be charged at your expense.

How we make money
