Toshiba's new Windows Mobile handset, the Portege G810 is "rife with features and high-end specs", according to one expert.
Lisa Grade, editor of Mobile Tech Review, claims the phone, which runs on Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 may not offer the same assurances as Windows Mobile devices made by HTC, but would suit people looking to stand out from the crowd.
It has "a very modern, elegant slate design in this year's hot finish: gloss black", she continues.
A three megapixel camera with autofocus lens, 3G HSDPA as well as HSUPA for faster uploads and the device also comes with a stereo headset, USB cable, stylus and world charger.
In addition, the quad band GSM phone includes a 64,000 colour 2.83-inch touch screen, SDHC microSD card slot, integrated GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0.
Described as the "new benchmark for phone sophistication", HTC unveiled its new flagship model, the Touch Diamond, in May.
