Microsoft has launched a special edition of its popular optical mouse targeting notebook users who work on the move, according to one tech-news website.
The software giant's Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 Special Edition is a compact and durable product that tracks well and despite its size is surprisingly comfortable, reports PC Advisor.
Microsoft's new notebook mouse weighs 90-grams and, according to the news provider, will fit inside a laptop bag side pocket with ease.
According to the review website, adjusting to the fully customisable three-button mouse takes about a day.
The mouse, which is powered by a single AA battery, comes in five colours; Aloe (light green), Creme Brulee (beige), Dragon Fruit (pink), Milk Chocolate (light brown), and Pomegranate (red).
In related news, Microsoft's Windows 7 Mobile operating system, which is designed for use on smart-phones, has been delayed until the second half of 2009, according to Daily Tech.
