Mini-gadget manufacturer PlanOn claims it has produced the world's smallest Bluetooth-enabled printer, it has been reported.
Its Printstik PS910, which weighs just 700-grams, uses specially designed thermal paper cartridges to cut down its size.
The device can print 20 full A4 sheets from a single cartridge at a rate of three pages per minute.
Aimed primarily at mobile workers on the move, the Printstick measures one-inch in height and is 11-inches long.
It can connect to any PC or supported mobile device either by Bluetooth or using a standard USB cable and can print to a maximum resolution of 200 x 400 dots per inch.
The-gadgeteer.com, a technology review website, said: "The PlanOn Printstik is very easy to use and I like the portability.
"I can understand its usefulness for a business person, but for an average Joe, I'm not sure it would see that much use."
The company is also behind the DocuPen RC800, a portable scanner slightly larger than a pen.
