Brits will soon be able to catch up on their favourite shows while they hang out the washing with Sanyo's new weatherproof TV.
And if the heavens open up, there's no need to panic as Sanyo's latest LCD-TVs are dustproof and waterproof.
The company is offering a new 52-inch 1080p model to complement its existing range of 32 and 42-inch weatherproof televisions.
With its toughened-glass sun-readable panel, which has a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 1500 cd/m2 on-screen brightness, you can watch it in direct sunlight and it should withstand a misplaced football or bottle of beer.
The Sanyo can also be sprayed with a hose and kept in temperatures up to 45 degrees with no ill-effect.
Sanyo is planning on releasing the 52-inch model in October and it will cost £8,000.
There is a range of TVs on the market that can resist the elements, ranging from 5-55-inch and bargain code hunters can pick a 55-inch weatherproof TV for less than £6,000 if they shop around.
