Fujitsu has released a limited edition pink gold version of its LifeBook P8010E.
According to Cnet's Mike Yamamoto, the company is "trying to sell beauty as well as brain" with the model, which has "high-gloss finish and chrome hinges to go with its unusual colour".
Fujitsu claims that the laptop will "ensure that you'll always be the centre of attention", Mr Yamamoto adds.
Similar to the regular LifeBook P8010E, the limited edition version weighs less than three pounds (1.4 kilograms) and comes with a 12.1-inch widescreen, Intel Dual-Core processor, 250 GB hard drive and 2GB of memory.
However, the new model also includes 3G wireless technology and has six hours worth of battery life, Bornrich reports.
In related news, Toshiba has released a limited-edition personalised laptop.
The 13.3-inch Portege M800 is finished in pearl white and includes a built-in webcam, DVD multidrive and comes with either the home or professional versions of Windows Vista.
