Bosch has launched a new range of dishwashers that it claims are among the most energy-efficient on the market, it has emerged.
In a recent statement, the manufacturer stated that its new environmentally-focussed 800 Series range had the type of green credentials that could make a significant difference to climate change if there were enough sales to buyers.
The firm cited research that said in the US alone, more than eight million people opted for a new dishwasher last year and had these all been from the 800 range, around 21 billion pounds of CO2 could have been saved over their lifetime.
Company president Franz Bosshard said the firm had kept to its commitment to energy-saving by offering some of the "most efficient machines on the market" and added that the firm would continue to maintain "the highest standards for environmental responsibility".
According to a recent article featured on smoop.com, the SHX99A15UC entry into the Bosch 800 range was as simple to use and well designed as one could expect.
