The world's largest compact flash memory card has been unveiled by Pretec at this year's Photokina.
Pretec held the record for largest memory card with its 48GB device, but has more than doubled that capacity with its 100GB storage device.
Suitable for use in digital cameras and capable of storing 4,000 25MB high-resolution RAW images the new card has "lightning fast" read and write times of up to 35MB per second.
Pretec has also unveiled a 64GB version of the memory device, which boasts the same access speeds as the 100GB version.
On top of this, the memory manufacturer has also released a new 32GB and 50GB card, which can both read and write data at almost one-and-a-half times faster than the bigger capacity cards, at 50GB per second.
Photokina 2008 is running until September 28th and is taking place in Cologne, Germany.
Companies exhibiting at the show include Canon, Olympus, Panasonic and Nikon, reports Cnet Asia.
